Our owner Barbrielle Buford attended Roosevelt University in Chicago. She started her professional career in the restaurant and hotel management industry and worked as a manager for one of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprise’s restaurants called The Eccentric, which is co-owned by Oprah Winfrey. She also worked with major hospitality companies, such as Four Seasons and Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in management.

Barbrielle attended Sorbonne University in Paris, France as an exchange student, studying literature and language, and lived overseas for 2 years. This is where she found her love for interior design. She continued further studies and attended Harrington Institute of Interior Design.

In the year 2000, she opened B&B Interiors in Chicago, a small showroom working on residential and commercial projects. From there, she worked for other showrooms in Oak Brook, Illinois including Walter E. Smithe Furniture & Design and Thomasville Furniture from 2010-2018.

In 2018, Barbrielle relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona and joined Scottsdale Arizona Thomasville Interior design showroom. All in all, she has 10 years with Thomasville Furniture. In total, she has more than 21 years of experience working in the interior design industry for residential and commercial projects.

Now as an independent interior designer, Barbrielle has worked with many other showrooms in Arizona. That allows her to have access to over 40 of the top American-made furniture vendors. This connection allows her to do her best work, offering contemporary, modern, mission/arts & crafts, transitional, South Western and traditional designs with a European flair.
